Look at the enormous attorney fee bills below of Mills Shirley, 'an attorney firm'. There is no documentation from these attorney records as to how there could be a reasonable explanation for at least $40,000 to $50,000 per month paid by the taxpayers to this attorney firm of Mills Shirley. Also, former council woman Dianna Puccetti has been fined $1000 by the Texas Ethics Commission for Violations of Law. The attorney firm of Mills Shirley contributed to Dianna Puccetti's campaign in 2008. Dianna Puccetti is or used to be with the Galveston Park Board of Trustees.  This "connection" between Dianna Puccetti and the attorney firm of Mills Shirley needs to be investigated further.

Why are Galveston taxpayers paying for an outside attorney firm when there is already a City Attorney, Susie Green, and Assistant City Attorney, Barbara Baruch?  How come these two attorneys cannot handle all legal business involving Galveston?  Why don't you ask these two attorneys?

There appears to be a lot of inbreeding between the Galveston Park Board of Trustees and the attorney firm of Mills Shirley.
